Spotted in Toggies: The Tiny Trendsetters Filling Up Our Feed

If there's one thing we look forward to every Monday morning (besides coffee, and the third coffee) it's scrolling through @tini.togs and seeing where our suits have ended up over the weekend. Pools. Beaches. Splash pads. Bathtubs. Once, very memorably, inside a kitchen sink because a parent was experimenting with bathing her twins simultaneously and there were only two sinks.

Here's a wrap of where Toggies have been spotted lately, and the energy each one is bringing.

Sunday-morning swim school stars

Swim lessons are basically a national parental sport in Australia and the after-school crew is doing big things in their Toggies. We've seen Sailor Suits in Mosman, Lagoon Suits in Mount Eliza, Apple Suits in Brisbane wave pools and Chilli Onesies in Adelaide indoor heated pools.

Special mention to the toddler who, when filmed at swim class in her Marshmallow Onesie, refused to leave the pool at the end and had to be carried out under one arm like a wet baguette. Iconic energy.

Beach babies and sand-covered legends

Beach days are where the brightness of our colours really earns its keep. The Lagoon Suit and Cotton Sky Suit pop beautifully against beige sand and blue water — which is great for photos and even better for spotting your child between two thousand other children at Bondi on a Saturday.

Crocodile Suit appearances on the Sunshine Coast have been a standout this year. There's something about a tiny human in a green crocodile-print suit running into the surf that resets your nervous system.

The poolside power moves

Backyard pools have been a serious Toggies showcase. We've seen sibling pairs in Peacock-and-Apple combos. A toddler in a Butter Suit casually eating an icy pole that was bigger than her head. A baby in the Teddy Onesie napping in a pool float, completely undisturbed by anything.

One of our favourites this month: a little one in a Tangy Onesie sticking her tongue out at the camera, wearing a sun hat backwards. Tangerine on her, sticking-tongue-out attitude on the inside, full personality.

Holiday-mode kids living their best lives

Travel posts are our weakness. We've watched our suits go on holiday to Bali, Phuket, Vanuatu, the Whitsundays, Far North Queensland, and (slightly randomly) Whistler, where one mum brought a Sailor Suit for the indoor pool and made an entire Canadian winter holiday feel like a beach trip.

If you're heading away soon, we always say: pack at least two Toggies. One will be wet. One will be on. The third is for the moment somebody catastrophically poos in the first one.

Mid-meltdown is also valid

Not every spotted moment is a smiley one. Some of our favourite tagged photos are the absolute meltdowns — Toggies-clad toddlers refusing to get out of the bath, refusing to get into the bath, crying about the wrong-coloured towel, mid-tantrum on the sand. We love these too. They're the real ones.

Real kids being real kids in proper, made-to-last swimwear is honestly the whole point.

Tag us at @tini.togs on Instagram or TikTok. We re-share customer photos almost every week — and yes, the messy, real, mid-disaster ones are very much welcomed. They're usually the best ones.

The world doesn't need more polished baby content. It needs more real moments — and we're here for every single one of them.
